Let's just say I spent way too much time on a picture that is essentially a joke about Demoman's eyepatch.

Well, it makes Gabe Newell want to say "arrr" so I accomplished something with that, haha

I am seriously overwhelmed by all the attention this painting is getting. Thank you a lot! Even if I didn't reply to every single comment, rest assured that I read all of them. Thank you so much

EDIT: It keeps coming up so I have to clarify something here: this picture was made BEFORE there was the blighted beak (aka the plague doctor mask), so saying that "pyro wears medic's mask" is inaccurate. Even now I wouldn't have chosen the mask for medic, because I had another time period in mind - centuries after the outbreak of the black death. There would be no reason for Medic to wear the mask.

Why did I give it to pyro then? Well for once he needed something to hide his (or her) face. The Plague Doctor mask also serves as a primitive gasmask so I guess it is accurate.
My headcanon for him is that he is a venetian pyrotechnician in "Pirate Fortress", which I tried to show by his costume and the decoration on his staff.
