Remake of this one.

I suddenly had the urge to use it as a desktop wallpaper*, because I really like that painting. But now I only see all the mistakes I made back then, so having to look at that painting wasn't much fun for me :/
So I decided to paint it once more XD And I really like the outcome~

The cape bothers me, though. I spend much time on it, but it still looks wrong to me....ah well.

Nicely done.
The cape definitely has a more fluid motion to it than the first painting. I imagine it still looks odd because very few people use capes anymore and and it's nearly impossible to find any photo references for capes blowing in the wind like this.
Most importantly, the feeling of romance you created in this piece is wonderful.
